Before you buy

Please read this carefully. eSIM plans are delivered instantly. Refunds go to your Waysim Balance, not back to your wallet, except where the law requires otherwise.

1. Check your phone

  • Your phone must support eSIM and be unlocked (not tied to your home carrier).
  • Check that [destination] is the country or region you are travelling to.

2. What you get

  • [plan name]: [data] for [days] days in [destination]. Data only — no phone number, calls or SMS.
  • Validity starts on first connection in [destination] (or: at installation).
  • Unused data expires at the end of the validity period.

3. Installation

  • Install the eSIM before your trip, on stable Wi-Fi.
  • One eSIM works on one device only and usually installs only once.
  • Do not delete the eSIM while data remains — it may not be possible to reinstall it.

4. Refunds go to your Waysim Balance

  • If the eSIM does not work because of a technical or network fault, we replace it or refund the price to your Waysim Balance.
  • If you chose the wrong country or your phone is not compatible, contact us before installing: we refund the full price to your Waysim Balance or switch you to the right plan.
  • No refunds for a change of mind, unused data or changed travel plans once the eSIM is installed.
  • Money goes back to your wallet only where the law requires it, or when the service failed completely and could not be fixed (strict conditions in the Refund & Replacement Policy, waysim.co/refund).
  • Customers in the EU, EEA and UK: your right of withdrawal is explained in section 5 of that policy.
  • Waysim Balance can be used for any Waysim plan. It cannot be withdrawn or transferred.

5. Paying with crypto

  • Send the exact amount, in the coin and network shown, before the timer ends.
  • A payment sent in the wrong coin or network, or to the wrong address, may be lost permanently.
  • Network fees are paid by you. Crypto payments cannot be reversed.
  • If you pay too little, too much or too late, the amount we receive goes to your Waysim Balance.

6. Fair use

  • For personal use on your phone or tablet while travelling. Not for routers, modems or resale.

7. Help

Checkboxes (both unticked by default, both required)

☐ My phone supports eSIM, is unlocked, and I have chosen the right destination.

☐ I ask Waysim to deliver my eSIM and start the service now. I understand that refunds are credited to my Waysim Balance and not paid back to my wallet, except where the law requires it or in the cases set out in the Refund & Replacement Policy. Any right of withdrawal I have ends when the eSIM is delivered or, if the law treats the plan as a service, once it has been fully provided; if I withdraw earlier, I pay for the part already provided.

Under the checkboxes

By continuing you agree to the Terms of Service (waysim.co/terms), Refund & Replacement Policy (waysim.co/refund), Acceptable Use & Fair Use Policy (waysim.co/fair-use) and Privacy Policy (waysim.co/privacy).

Buttons

  • Continue to payment — disabled until both boxes are ticked.

Implementation notes

  1. Show this screen before every purchase and top-up, not only the first one.
  2. Both checkboxes start unticked. Do not pre-tick them or combine them with other consents.
  3. Fill [destination], [plan name], [data] and [days] from the selected plan, and choose the validity sentence that matches the plan.
  4. Save a consent record for each order: account ID, order ID, date and time (UTC), app version and the version of this text.
  5. After payment, show and email an order confirmation with the plan, price, date, the full text of the second checkbox, links to the Terms and the Refund & Replacement Policy, and how to withdraw (EU, EEA and UK). EU and UK law require this confirmation on a durable medium; an email counts.
  6. Keep this text in English and Russian; show the version that matches the app language.
  7. Never use the words "no refunds" or "all sales are final" on their own anywhere in the app. Always say that refunds go to the Waysim Balance "except where the law requires otherwise".
  8. The withdrawal button, refund handling in the admin panel and the age check are described in the Waysim — In-app Texts document (section "Requirements for the app").
