Requirements for the app
- Account deletion (Apple 5.1.1(v), Google Play). Settings → Delete account inside the app. Also a public web page at support.waysim.co/delete-account that names Waysim and lets a user request deletion of the account and data without the app.
- Privacy Policy link (Apple 5.1.1(i), Google Play). Add waysim.co/privacy in App Store Connect, in Google Play Console and inside the app (Settings → Legal). The page must be public, open without login and not be a PDF.
- Sign-in (Apple 4.8). If the app offers Google sign-in, it must also offer Sign in with Apple (or another login that limits data to name and email and lets the user hide their email).
- No tracking. No advertising SDKs and no cross-app tracking, so no App Tracking Transparency prompt is needed. The App Privacy answers (Apple) and the Data safety form (Google) must match the Privacy Policy.
- Payments and balance (Apple 3.1.1, 3.1.3(e), Google Play payments policy). eSIM plans are used outside the app, so crypto payment is allowed. Waysim Balance may only buy eSIM plans: no cash-out, no transfers between users and never to unlock features inside the app. This also keeps the balance from being treated as electronic money.
- Refunds in the admin panel. Support can refund to the Waysim Balance with one action (full order or a chosen amount), with a reason. Wallet refunds are never automatic: support marks a request as approved, the owner sends the payment manually, and the admin panel stores the evidence, the confirmed wallet address, the amount, the date and the transaction hash. The customer gets the "Refund to balance" or a wallet-refund confirmation by email and in the app.
- Age (US state laws). For new accounts, use Apple's Declared Age Range API and Google's Play Age Signals API where state law requires it (Texas now; Alabama, Utah, Louisiana and California from 2027). If the user is under 18, show the age check text and block sign-up and purchases. Do not use the age data for anything else.
- EU withdrawal button (EU law, from 19 June 2026). On every order, for 14 days after purchase and while the plan is not fully used, show a clearly visible "Withdraw from contract here" button to customers in the EU, EEA and UK (detect by the App Store or Google Play country or the device region; if unclear, show it). Step 1: the withdrawal form, where the customer must choose the refund method themselves. Step 2: the "Confirm withdrawal" button. Then immediately show and email the "Withdrawal received" text with the order, date and time. Do not send users to the live chat instead.
- Optional: separate eSIM issuance fee. The owner may decide to show the price as two parts, for example "eSIM issuance $[X] + data $[Y]". The issuance part is provided in full when the eSIM is delivered, so it is not refunded on an EU withdrawal. Show both parts on the plan page and at checkout, and keep the issuance fee realistic.
- Pre-purchase screen and consent record. See the Waysim — Pre-purchase Notice document.
- Store listings (owner). Declare trader status for the EU in App Store Connect and Google Play Console (your name, address, phone and email are shown publicly in the EU). Developer (seller) and support email: support@waysim.co. Support URL: support.waysim.co.
